So we were in Dallas for a short period of time looking at SMU with our son (he will be going to college in 2024). He's never been to Dallas before so we wanted to give him a cursory tour of the city to help him decided whether he would like attending school there or not. As it turned out, it was going to be over 100 degrees during our stay, so we ideally wanted something at night. Enter this Dallas Night Sightseeing E-scooter tour!!! The tour location was only a view minutes from our hotel. Once we got there, we were immediately greeted, fitted with helmets, shown liability waivers and the bathroom. After that, Louis our tour guide introduced himself. We each got a couple of ice-cold waters for the trip and were on our way. My wife and I have ridden e-bikes many times before so we were familiar with the controls. My son not so much (but he was a fast learner). The bikes we had didn't have pedals so they were more scooter's than e-bikes. None the less we were on our way. We toured through neighborhoods, over bridges, down some busy streets and everything in between. While riding, Luis also gave us the option to chose the music blaring out of the bluetooth speak mounted to his bike. I chose the Notorious B.I.G. as he just seemed to fit with the style of the bikes and the tour through downtown Dallas. My son had to end the tour early due to a previous wrist injury, but overall we all had a fantastic time. We found out that Louis our tour guys was actually working on his birthday that night so we made sure to give him a good tip. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get a nice overview of Dallas and have a little fun while you are at it.
