2 Hour Dolphin, Birding and Shelling Tour

Overview
Not only will you be introduced to the great birding and wildlife in the area by your naturalists guide, you will also learn about the eco-systems, it rich heritage and long history.
Our tours are never "canned", so each tour is different. The area's wildlife move around in order to exist in their world and so must we. Many species are seasonal and inhabit different areas in different environmental conditions, so too, we must be able to adapt. Bring your cameras, binoculars, snacks, favorite drinks, hats, sunglasses and have a great time!!

9:00-12:30 11/27/19 - The Grove couple spent this time with Chris on a boat tour that brought us beautiful sights and sounds of the area. Chris was a great guide full of information about the area! As we drove along, encountering a variety of beautiful birds, eyeing graceful dolphins, and driving through mangroves, we viewed white and brown pelicans, great egrets, snowy egrets, osprey in a high nest, as well as many other sights around Marco Island. The biggest treat was seeing a roseate spoonbill flying around us as well as remains of a home that was built in the 80’s, and of unique architecture, now mostly covered with water, a reminder of rising seal levels. It was a great 3.5 hour tour, and many thanks to Chris for his time and effort! The Groves, Leland, North Carolina
