What To Expect
1
Ponce City Market
Atlanta's favorite food hall is located inside an old Sears and Roebuck store built in 1923. The largest brick structure in the Southeast, Ponce City Market is where Atlantans go to indulge. Explore a slice of the city while eating at many of well curated restaurants inside. As we we walk around we'll tell the stories of the building and the area of the city long before it was the destination it is today.
2
Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail
The Atlanta Beltline is where meet to walk, ride bikes or scooters, and create. The Beltline is home to some of the best street art in the city. As you walk along the miles and miles of path you'll see work from Atlanta's best artists.

We hadn't visited Ponce City Market yet so, at the recommendation of friends, we got our intro by taking Food Tours Atlanta's Ponce City Market food tour. Cristy was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour involved less walking than some tours we've done but covered SO much. The tour starts inside the market at H&F Burgers, goes outside for some history, winds through the market, sampling Cuban food, bitters, and King of Pops, before heading out onto the BeltLine to see artwork and explore more architecture and history. Back inside we had a cheese tasting, sampled oils & vinegars, and some Indian food. At each stop, the food was excellent and portions were generous. The purveyors at 18.21 Bitters and the Italian restaurant were exceptional. We're looking forward to taking the Inman Park tour with Cristy later this fall.

The Ponce City Market Food Tour is a "Must Do"! This is a very unique way to learn about the history of Ponce City Market and the surrounding area as you eat tasty food. I learned more interesting history than I had anticipated while indulging in cuisine from locally owned and operated establishments. You will get do taste food from "award-wining" restaurants and learn about the owners and their culinary experience. If you haven't experienced Ponce City Market yet, this is the perfect introduction. I highly recommend this tour!

Loved the awesome food tour with Christy, the owner of Food Tours Atlanta! We surprised our daughter with the food tour for her 19th birthday and she loved it and so did her parents ~ It exceeded all of our expectations! We loved being introduced to all the new restaurants and loved all the various foods we tasted. A surprise 6th stop on the tour was just icing on the cake! Christy's history knowledge of the area was fascinating, making it difficult to choose what we liked best....the food or history! It was all great fun and we awoke the next day wishing we were going on the tour again! Thank you Christy! Can't wait to take your new tour of Ponce City Market!
