We hadn't visited Ponce City Market yet so, at the recommendation of friends, we got our intro by taking Food Tours Atlanta's Ponce City Market food tour.
Cristy was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour involved less walking than some tours we've done but covered SO much. The tour starts inside the market at H&F Burgers, goes outside for some history, winds through the market, sampling Cuban food, bitters, and King of Pops, before heading out onto the BeltLine to see artwork and explore more architecture and history. Back inside we had a cheese tasting, sampled oils & vinegars, and some Indian food.
At each stop, the food was excellent and portions were generous. The purveyors at 18.21 Bitters and the Italian restaurant were exceptional. We're looking forward to taking the Inman Park tour with Cristy later this fall.
