Gettysburg National Military Park

The Battle of Gettysburg, a turning point in the Civil War, was the Union victory that ended General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the Rebellion," Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal "Gettysburg Address."

Devils Den

Devils Den is a rock formation that can be explored by the whole family. Located in the middle of Gettysburg National Military Park below Little Round Top.

Little Round Top

There was nothing memorable to see because we didn’t get to take the tour really upset sat there for a half an hour then I had to get off no tour guide really screwed up our whole trip didn’t have another time to go back

Sorry that we were not able to accommodate you. Having a guide not show is not something that happens often. I have been here for 20+ years and I can't remember the last time this occurred. I hope you are able to return to Gettysburg and take a tour at a later date. I hope the rest of your visit to Gettysburg was enjoyable.

I rated this a 4. The Guide was awesome. She was very professional, very knowledgeable and made this tour worthwhile. The only hiccup was the our tour was scheduled for 12:15, we boarded the coach bus around 11:05, sat on air conditioned bus for almost 3/4 hour waiting for the Guide to show. After no show, this tour was canceled. We got off bus and was told to get in line and check back at counter. They did accommodate us to next tour 1/2 later on a double decker on lower level with no air conditioning and had to use ear buds to be able to hear Guide. Seating was definitely a lot less comfortable on this bus. Our very knowledgeable Guide definitely made this tour.
