This was our second battlefield bus tour and definitely the best. Our tour guide, Mr. Winkleman, was wonderful! He gave a very informative presentation during the ride and at the stops that we made. Our son, who is a history buff, was very impressed with the entire experience. The reservation process was seamless--kudos to Bonnie!! Thank you all for a great visit.

The guide was very knowledgeable but it was boring. He tried to make it interesting but history dates and names get boring.

Thanks for your review. All Guides tell their story differently. Could you tell me the date and time you took the tour so that we can address this matter.

This was NOT an enclosed coach, it was an open top double decker bus. They sent me a message saying they had reserved seats for us up top. I requested they move us downstairs since it was October and the weather iffy. They agreed to move us downstairs and sent a confirmation message. When we got there, they still had us up top and had no room down below. To avoid a fuss we sat up top. It was in the 40s and freezing while the bus was moving. We were freezing most of the tour. The earbuds were large and uncomfortable. The path the tour bus chose through the battlefield was strange and it was difficult to follow the tour guides narrative. I had done the enclosed coach tour twice in the past where a tape was played and it was fantastic. This open top bus with the live guide was uncomfortable and not nearly as interesting. Avoid if possible.

Thanks for your review and feedback. Sorry you did not enjoy your tour. All guides do tell their story differently. The Audio presentation is only offered in our off season. The Enclosed bus would have still had a Guide. We use disposable earbuds for the safety of our guests. If you would have asked we do have headsets that we could have provided, which are cleaned in between tours. Hope the rest of your visit was enjoyable.
