Gettysburg National Military Park

The Battle of Gettysburg, a turning point in the Civil War, was the Union victory that ended General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the Rebellion," Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal "Gettysburg Address."

Devils Den

Devils Den is a rock formation that can be explored by the whole family. Located in the middle of Gettysburg National Military Park below Little Round Top.

Little Round Top

We sat on top it was not enclosed. The earbuds they provided were greatly appreciated. The guide was experienced and gave us good ideas on where to go alone.

Best spent $..... guide was amazing. Second time and enjoyed this tour even more than the first. Ladies at the registration/gift shop were the nicest.

We have been to Gettysburg numerous times. We have used the auto tour on several occasions but this was the first time we took a guided tour and it was fantastic, Jim Miller was our guide and he made the whole experience interesting and alive. You could actually see how things unfolded during those 3 days of fighting, the mistakes, strokes of luck and just being in the right( or wrong) place at a certain time determined the outcome of the battle. The price is definitely reasonable and everyone was great. We tried booking online at first but we wanted to make sure we had the right time so we called and the woman was so nice and helpful and made reservations for us for the 4:30 tour that day. Parking was easy and Amy our bus driver was nice and friendly, there was another girl on the bus but she was in the upper deck and I didn’t get her name but she was nice also.
