We stopped in Gettysburg for a day and I surprised husband with tickets for this tour. Our 10 month old rode for free. The seats were rather cramped, but the tour guide was amazing! He has been leading these kinds of tours for 22 years and gave a lot of information and passed around pictures to help with his explanations. We were able to get off the bus a few times, but seeing as it was 100Ā° out and we had the baby with us, we didnt take advantage of that every time.

Having the certified guide made the experience more than expected. Would suggest that the tour bus be taken to some of the southern memorials as there are only a few and there are so many from the north. Would also suggest that there be more photo opportunity's for example at Pickets charge, rather then stopping in the bus viewing the area from our seats we could have stepped out of the bus to take some photos? Understanding that there is a time limit, that piece could be slightly extended to improve the experience? Same scenario at the Devils' den, we could have been given an opportunity to get out for photos? Knowing that there are so many different areas with photo opportunity's that help tell the story. We will definitely be back to see more of this historical area of our country! Thank you sincerely!
