Very informative and insightful guide (Bob). A good way to start exploring the battlefield and museums in depth.

We were all disappointed during this tour. For a placed steeped in history all our tour guide talked about was the flank and how it wins wars. The bus didn't slow down in front of any monuments and the tour guide didn't explain most of what we drove by. Wouldn't recommend if you want to actually grasp the enormity of this location or have any interest in US history.

Sorry you were disappointed in the tour. Can you tell me the day and time you did the tour? Would like to check into this further. The tour should have covered all three days of the battle. Unfortunately, with so many monuments and markers we are not able to cover everything. There are a couple of other options for those who have a love for history. Hire a private guide for your vehicle or purchase an Auto tour CD so you can stop where you would like. Hope you enjoyed your visit to Gettysburg.

The tour guide brought the history to life and used his knowledge of the area to do so. I really enjoyed it except my disability limited me. I use an motorized cart or a walker, neither of which was allowed on the bus. I don't recommend this tour if you are disabled. You are better off buying the driving tour from the museum bookstore and viewing from our own vehicle.
