Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the Rebellion," Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal "Gettysburg Address."

Devils Den

Devils Den is a rock formation that can be explored by the whole family. Located in the middle of Gettysburg National Military Park below Little Round Top.

We enjoyed the comfort of the air conditioned bus on an unseasonably warm day. There were a few opportunities to get off at certain sites and just be able to stand where events actually happened. Our guide was great, we learned so much and came away with a greater sense of this historic and amazing battle over a 3 day period.

While traveling on a Rustad Tour, we had a guide join our coach to impart his passion for the battle at Gettysburg. He took us to several areas where battles were fought, impressing us with the vastness of the losses and theries of decisions that effected the outcome. Very thought-provoking and informative.
