Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Reasonably priced for the experience. Ashley and Melody were great. Gratuity to the guides is accepted but not expected. My Girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. Lots of nature scenes. Make sure you jump off the tree into the water…lots of fun!! Our guides were friendly companions, and enjoyable to talk to, but also knew how to hang back, and just let us enjoy our time together for private moments. They were very knowledgeable of the vegetation and wildlife in the area to where we were able to learn a few things on the trip. The Cruise on the trip back was the best part. Just sit back and let the current guide you home. The owner could use an upgrade on the equipment to get longer boats and single paddles for tall people that sit in the back. (Perhaps even polish the boats to get them a little more clear and transparent) I kept hitting my friend in the back of the head with the paddle on certain parts of the trip, and it was difficult to see through the transparent boat under the water in certain areas. All and all though, It was just a nice, calm, relaxing enjoyable experience. We had a great time. I highly recommend this place and we will check out their Winter Park (LEDs at night experience) and Florida Keys locations next.

We can't thank you both enough for soaking in the views at Rock Springs with us through our clear kayaks. We always think the best way to learn about the waterway and vegetation is through a hands on experience! We replaced our kayaks with a brand new fleet last week so we definitely understand the need of keeping new ones out there. When it comes to the paddles, we’ve tried a few different brands and we’ve found the 90in Magellan ones are most comfortable for guests, I apologize if you found it a bit difficult to use given your height and sitting behind your guest! We can't wait to explore with you in the future at Winter Park and The Keys!!

First timers with this kayaking thing. Boy was it awesome!!! Our tour guide was Daniel. Very patient and kind young man. He was so helpful and accommodating. The scenery was stunning. Can’t wait to book this again. Kudos with 10 thumbs up. Thanks Daniel for being so patient with two married non- kayakers who were complete amateurs. Hope we didn’t make your job too hard.
