Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

The trip was fantastic. Visiting from the UK we wanted to do something other than theme parks in Orlando and this did not disappoint. Ashley was our guide and she was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We were lucky to see plenty of wildlife including a small gator. Highly recommended….

Having seen this tour on a 4 part Florida TV programme in England, we couldn't wait to visit. We were not disappointed. Our guide Ashley was patient, knowledgeable and a very relaxing guide. We came away feeling so wonderfully relaxed! Ashley really made this special for us, even taking some lovely photos and a few videos for us to remember our experience. The area is stunning and the spring itself is simply incredible. Being able to see so much by being in a see through kayak was fantastic. We were asked by several other kayak users on the water way where we had got the see through kayaks from, they really stood out as being a luxury!! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

This was my wive's favorite part of our 5 day Orlando based couples vacation. My wife and I are both mid 50's and after over a dozen trips through the years to Orlando it was fantastic to see a different and unique view of Florida. Jeremey, our guide, was incredible. Very informative and helpful. Superlative tour guide. This tour involves a little exercise and those in moderately ok fitness level should be fine.
