Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Fabulous kayak experience for all ages. Our party ranged from aged 9-52 and we all had a blast. Enjoyed the cooling dip at one of the stops and was pleased we did the early morning tour avoiding the pm heat and increased numbers of kayakers. Would love to do this again - Jeremy our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us as most of us were novices. Excellent experience and highly recommended.

Whether you’re experienced or not in kayaking, this is a great activity to try out if visiting Orlando! I went with my friends and purchased the tour guide bundle. Jacob, our tour guide, did an amazing job in showing us around and keeping us entertained. You could definitely tell there’s passion present in the environment with all of the workers we encountered. I’d love to come back if in the area again. I liked how we were able to stop numerous times to take photos, swim in the lake, and truly get a glimpse of the nature surrounding us. Jacob even offered to take underwater videos for my friends and I! For those considering going on this adventure, I’d recommend bringing a waterproof case, water bottle, and leaving all clothes behind before departure. It’s an experience you won’t regret!
