The best part of our kayak trip was our guide Alex. Alex was friendly and very knowledgeable. He shared his love for the birds, animals and history of Shingle Creek with all of us. Our experience would not have been the same without his narrative and good eye for spotting elusive birds such as spoonbills, an eagle and so many others.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The group number was low and we were treated very well. Our guide was VERY good at spotting and guiding us to the manatees in the area. Our in-water experience was great. It was amazing to see several manatees slowly swimming near me on both sides. Would highly recommend you take the early morning tour, as there was nobody else out on the Bay and we had the manatees entirely to ourselves.
