Wonderful primary Florida forest experience right in the middle of the city! Pristine nature, crystal clear water, and plenty of wildlife like alligators, turtles, soma snakes, rare birds etc. we were able to see during this two hours trip thanks to the marvelous job our ground guide Alexander did. His profound knowledge of this environment, his love for nature, and his enthusiasm for what he is doing were contagious. We enjoyed this trip a lot and he made it even much better, more illustrative educating us about how fragile this ecosystem can be. In the end, he brought us his pet - a local native Florida snake - and it was the first time I could touch a snake without fear and learn about this incredible creature I was always scared to death from. I couldn't believe how docile his animal can be and how wrong we all are killing the for no reason as most of them are completely inoffensive! Thank you, Alexander.

Since I was staying at a resort in the area, I decided to check this out since I had never kayaked, (I live on the Anclote/Gulf side of the state). Alex was wonderful not only as an instructor, but also as a naturist. It was not only a kayaking experience but also an education of the wildlife, plants and flowers in the area. I would love to go back.
