What To Expect

Tampa

We take off from the Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa and zoom quickly by the Amalie Arena. From there, we coast onto the Tampa Riverwalk, which follows the majestic Hillsborough River to the scenic Curtis Hixon Park. Take in panoramic views of the city and the bay and return to the Embassy Suites to round out your tour.

A great tour that gives a fun way to explore the city. We accidentally booked on the wrong day and they were nice enough to let us on the tour the day we wanted!

Overall a good experience. It was a bit warm and we went in October but if you keep moving you are cool enough; I can't say I personally would want to do the tour during the summer (and BTW I live in Houston so I do understand heat and humidity). Our guide was nice. There is no bathroom at their office; you have walk down the block to a nearby hotel if you need that. They do need to upgrade their helmets; the selection was very small and several had broken straps etc. Also, be aware not all the Segways have storage bags for water bottles. None of us had ridden before so we didn't expect that your feet kinda fall asleep (everyone in my group reported this) and my bad knee was a bit stressed from balancing; happy we went but just good info to know. Good times but personally experiencing this once was enough for me.

We had a great time. Our tour guide Jacob was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. We would highly recommend taking this tour when you visit St. Pete.
