What To Expect

Charleston City Hall

The tour will begin in front of City Hall which is one of the pillars of the "Four Corners of Law" which also includes the Courthouse, the Post Office and St Michaels Church at the intersection of Meeting Street and Broad Street. From here you will explore many notable sites in the French Quarter and the residential area "South of Broad".

Rainbow Row

Learn the history behind the famous Rainbow Row, one of the most photographed sites in Charleston. Rainbow Row is located in the "South of Broad" neighborhood which we will explore and includes many historically significant homes including the antebellum mansions located along the famous "Battery". ***Please note that stops along the tour may vary.***

Battery & White Point Gardens

Explore the residential area "South of Broad" including the Battery with views over the water to Fort Sumter.

Our family of 9 booked a tour and Wendy was our guide. She was excellent in her knowledge and delivery of the information. Very relaxed and fun!! We had a teen, a 9 year old and a toddler with 6 adults. Very easy walk. Thank you Wendy!!

We had an incredible time with Dennis! He was so knowledgeable and we loved his approach to the city’s history. We were sad this was only a 2 hour tour - we could’ve easily done 2 more hours with Dennis! We even went back to a few of the places he showed us and took his advice for coffee and dinner! I highly recommend this tour

This tour was our favorite tour of the weekend. Our tour guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. The two hours went by too quickly, we wished we had more time. Hopefully Mark will still be giving tours the next time we make it back to Charleston. Thanks Mark!
