Leave the Las Vegas Strip behind and embark on a 2-hour exhilarating off road tour of the Las Vegas desert led by one of our professional guides. You'll drive a 110 horsepower off road buggy through mountain terrain, sand dunes, desert washes, and a portion of the historic Mint 400 off road race course! Our helmets feature an air filtration system to keep you comfortable and as dust free as possible during your adventure. These are small group tours with a maximum of 6 vehicles per tour to ensure you enjoy the personalized service that has made us a top-rated guest experience. All necessary equipment, water and snacks, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included. Choose between two departure times when you book. Please note, we operate 2 and 4 seat vehicles. Bookings for 1 or 2 people will be booked in 2 seat vehicles. Bookings for 3 or 4 people will be booked in 4 seat vehicles. Please call us or create multiple bookings if 2 seat vehicles are desired for larger parties.

Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Subject to favorable weather and trail conditions. If the operator is unable to offer the tour due to weather conditions or other trail hazards you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund.
Excepting the above, fees are non-refundable after booking. If you need to reschedule your tour, you may do so with no penalty, subject to availability, if operator is notified 24 hours in advance of original tour departure.
The duration of transfers is approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have a signed parental consent form
Minimum riding age is 12 years
Minimum driving age is 16 years with a valid driver's license and drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same vehicle
A valid Driver's License is required to operate the vehicle and must be presented on the day of the tour
Face masks required for guides in public areas

What To Expect

Desert Off Road Adventures

Your adventure begins with complimentary hotel pickup from Las Vegas Strip or Downtown hotels to to the departure area. You will be fitted with a full-face helmet, equipped with an in-helmet air circulation system for your comfort. After a safety and vehicle orientation, you will set out on an exhilarating adventure that will thrill both experienced and inexperienced riders. During the tour, you will pilot your 110hp side by side vehicle over every type of desert terrain, receiving driving instruction for the trail ahead from your professional off road racer guides and enjoying some amazing scenery along the way. Each tour includes viewpoint stops for photos and the opportunity to switch drivers if sharing a vehicle. As the tour returns, enjoy complimentary cold drinks and snacks, a refreshing cool towel to wipe off the dust, and a gift bag from us. Allow 45 minutes to an hour for your return trip to your hotel.

Must add this to your Las Vegas to-do list!!!!! We booked this trip with Dempsey while we were visiting Las Vegas!! I researched a handful of companies for a utv tour, but I was most impressed by Dempsey based on their equipment/machines and their response time (got very quick responses when I messaged them with questions). We were picked up at our hotel and brought to Dempsey in the desert where the utv was there and ready to go. There were 2 of us, and we switched off driving during stops along the way on the tour. The machines (utv) were very nice and the terrain through the desert was awesome!!! All the staff there was also so awesome, helpful, friendly. I would recommend this company to everyone! I was so impressed...I'm ready to go back and do it again!!!

My husband and I are travel agents who specialize in “high speed experiences”. We recently checked out Dempsey Off Road Adventures to see if they qualified to be a vendor. They more than do. We chose them because of the reputation of Chuck Dempsey, a five time winner of the grueling Baja Races. Using brand new Arctic Cat Wildcat X 1000 UTV’s, Chuck and his crew (Kevin and Kelly) met us at the edge of the desert. After unloading the vehicles, we used the restroom in the decked out RV they brought along, picked out our snacks and water, got a briefing, put on our air conditioned helmets and away we went for a three hour adventure! Yes, our helmets were air conditioned to help keep out the dust. We started off slowly. With Chuck in front, and Kevin following for safety reasons, we were introduced into the beauty of the surrounding hills and valleys. When Chuck was comfortable with us being comfortable handling these expensive high performance vehicles, we really took off. We went up 40° to 60° inclines that seemed impossible. Chuck said “trust the equipment” and we did. Whoa! Eventually, we made our way to some dunes and washouts. The scenery was breathtaking. However, our experience has been that the scenery is always great or the tour wouldn’t go there. For us, the ultimate difference was Chuck and his crew’s support, equipment, and professional experience. When the tour was over, we were given a ‘gift bag’ that included a hat and t-shirt. They are now on our vendor list and will be the only UTV group we use in Las Vegas. Robin Stock Global Travel International
