An overall enjoyable time. I went with my girlfriend while we were visiting Portland (duh) and we both had a good time. I'd give this 4.5/5 stars if I could. Does the price seem a little steep? Sure, but it is what you make of it. I encourage everyone who considers this to note that you're on a boat tour. Temper your expectations.
Some highlights to consider:
>The views are lovely
>The tour has commentary (if you seek it)
>Provides lunch - variety of main course options
>Staff pretty friendly
>There's a stellar pianist (really impressed)
>2 hours is the perfect amount of time; boats leaves on time and returns on time
>Has a bar offering liquor and beers
>Air-conditioned inside
A few negative components:
>The lunch isn't winning any awards - it's boat food.
>Cost only includes the actual lunch entree - something to keep in mind.
>Anything additional will be expensive
>Quality of cheese on the cheese plate is suspect
>I can't comment on the quality of the booze, but the iced tea was more ice than tea.
A lot of the negative reviews I read about this cruise were clearly from unhinged people. You're on a 2-hour boat tour. Temper your expectations. And if you want wine, bring your own. Corking fee is an easy $25 whereas their prices started at $40+ for what I can imagine retails for $10.
