Sitka Sea Level Adventures is a local & family-run tour company in Sitka, Alaska. Specializing in whale watching & marine wildlife tours, we explore Sitka Sound & the pristine wilderness around the Tongass National Forest & the volcanic coastline of our island home. The surrounding waters are a marine playground for several whale species, including Humpback, Gray, and Killer Whales, sea lions, sea otters, eagles, puffins & sea birds galore!

Sitka

Sitka Sound is home to some of the most amazing wildlife in the world. On our trips we often see seals, sea lions, sea otters, and whales. There is a wide variety of birds in our area as well: bald eagles, puffins, and muir are just a few that stand out. Sitka Blacktail deer and Brown Bears are also a common sight. This wildlife tour is perfect for those looking to experience the breathtaking and overwhelming scenery the Tongass National Forest has to offer, with fantastic opportunities for photography and making memories. No animal sightings are guaranteed. All trips are unique due to weather and time of year.

We had an awesome tour with Jaren! He knew exactly where to go for the best chance to see wildlife. We were lucky enough to see whales, sea lions, otters, eagles and a bear fishing on the shoreline. He offers an authentic view of Sitka and it’s obvious that he loves what he does! Highly, highly recommend this tour. Thanks, Jaren!

Got to spend a week in Sika so had some time to research the best things to do. A knowledgeable local pointed us to Sitka Sea Level Adventures. Wow! This guy is a wizard! Want to see whales? 20 minutes later and whales pop up around the boat! Next it was bears. 30 minutes later we're watching bears eating salmon along the beach. And we had to try our luck at fishing. Even this was amazing. In less than an hour we had my prized salmon in the boat Captain Jaren says this is not the normal day, but all that mattered was the great day we had. Thanks Captain!
