Overview

The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also included a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book.

For now, we will allow maximum capacity ONLY for one family or group per household if staying together in the same rental house. Otherwise, the maximum will be TWELVE (12) people.

If you have more than 12 people please call us directly for accommodations.

We will NOT be able to allow any children UNDER 40 POUNDS on the tour.

The wild horses and the 4×4 beach area was a fun adventure and our guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this tour and your company!!

Corolla Outback Adventures seriously delivered today. Brad was our guide and took us several miles up the beach in Corolla, Outer Banks, North Carolina. We saw so many beautiful dolphins on the drive and the wild horses of Corolla. This was one of the best excursions I’ve been on. Brad was super knowledgeable and funny. We met the newest to the herd, Cricket. She’s the highlight of the day. We totally recommend this outing if you’re in the area and ask for Brad as your guide….the best.

I loved the ride across the sand dunes. The horses were beautiful and a bit frisky. There were some disagreements among the males. It showed their natural personalities. It was fun to see them in their natural habitat. The guide was FANTASTIC!!
