2-Hour Private Hilton Head Afternoon Dolphin Watching Sail

Overview

This 2 hour Private Afternoon Sailing tour will take us to Port Royal Sound (generally the best wind for sailing on Hilton Head) on the North side of the island. During the day, this is generally filled with exciting winds for great sailing along with the beautiful scenery and wildlife such as dolphins, birds, sting ray and Manatee are some of the great things we get to see on a very regular basis. This is a Monohull Sailboat which means it will heal over (completely normal but very exciting - designed not to tip over!). All this without the noise of the motor in the back ground - we like to sail not motor sail!!!

We want our guest to be very comfortable on board our vessel known as "Knot the Office" and therefore if anyone is uncomfortable with the healing we can significantly reduce the healing to ensure everyone is comfortable.

This is a fun and exciting activity but yet very relaxing and rewarding at the same time.

Great way to spend the afternoon! We loved learning all about sailing and some new things about HHI. Captain Paul and first mate Don were great. (Don convinced us we need to move to the island!) We could participate in 'sailing' as much as we wanted, or just sit back and enjoy the breeze and the view. They made us feel very comfortable and explained everything along the way. We visit HHI every year, but this was the first time we booked a private boat. We selected Anchors Away because they were the only monohulled sailboat (non-catamaran) charter we could find; and we are so glad we did!. We will definitely book with them again.

Fabulous boat! Great captain and first mate (Paul & Kevin.) Our group had a wide comfort range from those who had never been on a sailboat and were nervous about heeling to those who wanted sped and heeling to the max. Paul & Kevin managed to make our nervous guests at ease and worked up to some awesome sailing for all. Kudos to them and their knowledge of the boat and water. Thanks for an excellent time!
