2-Hour Private Hilton Head Afternoon Dolphin Watching Sail

Overview

This 2 hour Private Afternoon Sailing tour will take us to Port Royal Sound (generally the best wind for sailing on Hilton Head) on the North side of the island. During the day, this is generally filled with exciting winds for great sailing along with the beautiful scenery and wildlife such as dolphins, birds, sting ray and Manatee are some of the great things we get to see on a very regular basis. This is a Monohull Sailboat which means it will heal over (completely normal but very exciting - designed not to tip over!). All this without the noise of the motor in the back ground - we like to sail not motor sail!!!

We want our guest to be very comfortable on board our vessel known as "Knot the Office" and therefore if anyone is uncomfortable with the healing we can significantly reduce the healing to ensure everyone is comfortable.

This is a fun and exciting activity but yet very relaxing and rewarding at the same time.

We loved our sailing tour and only wish it was longer! Capt Paul & Mate Kevin were friendly, knowledgeable, & fun. It was the highlight of my trip to HHI. We were in more for the sailing than the dolphin watching but we did see a pod of 10-12 dolphin a couple times in the Sound. I would absolutely do this again and a longer trip if they offer

We had a wonderful time with our grand nieces on our Dolphin Watching Sail. There were many dolphins and they swam right next to the boat. The captain and crew (Deb) were excellent and provided detailed information on how dolphins interact and sleep. Very entertaining and best overall event during our stay at Hilton Head.

My adult daughters and I took this trip So they could experience sailing and we could see dolphins. The sailing was fun and we did haul quite a bit. Loved that part. We only saw the tip of one dolphin. That was disappointing as we hoped we would see more. I think it should be titled just a sailing trip-leave the dolphin watch out. That way it would be a great bonus if you saw any. The crew was great and very safety cautious. It was a fun trip but a little long for us since it was just sailing and not much viewing of anything.

We are sorry that we did not see a lot of dolphins on your particular trip with us, but as you can see with most of the reviews, that is a fairly rare occasion to go out and not see dolphins. However, wind and wild life is unpredictable but we try to make the most of it on every sailing trip we do. We are glad you enjoyed the sailing portion of our trip.
