My daughter and I did the Saddle and Paddle trip with Wild West and both trips were great! The horseback riding took place in the stunning mountains in Gallatin National Forest. Our guide Audie was great with the horses. Our paddling trip down the Yellowstone River was exciting and our guide Morgan also kept us entertained with stories and interesting facts about the area. It was a great family friendly day and I would recommend both the horseback riding and the rafting trips.

For our family's first ever white water rafting experience, Wild West Rafting was a perfect choice. Our guide Morgan struck the perfect balance between serious professional and super-fun adventure girl. It was so cool for my daughters (4 & 8) to see such a strong, confident young woman calling the shots. It was a beautiful place to ride, everyone had a blast, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat. The 2-hour half-day ride was perfect for our kids, yet still allowed the adults to enjoy themselves as well, and it was an affordable side-adventure on our family road trip to Yellowstone. It was one of the funnest, most memorable experiences we've had as a family!

Wild West Rafting was a great company to work with. We couldn't decide what we wanted to do in Gardiner (horse-back ride, full vs half-day river raft, etc) and wound up not booking our 2-hour trip til the day before, but no worries; this company is friendly, easy-going, and very organized/professional. They provided everything we needed (all we wore were our bathing suits), and after filling out forms & $, we rec'd basic info and boarded a bus to our put-in destination on the other side of town (& returned via bus on the rebound). Guides were fun, informative, and safe/experienced. Everyone got soaked, & our son opted to 'go over' into the water a few times. Saw some wildlife, but mainly it was just a fun way to spend a beautiful day on/in the water.
