2-Hour Snowmachine Tour

Overview

The 2-hour tour is for adventurous for newcomers or experienced riders who want to get some more miles on the trail. Our heated facility is located on the road to Chena Hot Springs Resort so you can plan a tour either on your way up to the Hot Springs or on your way back. There is nothing like the Hot Springs after time in the outdoors! You’ll see more of the country and a better chance to view some of our winter animals who don’t hibernate. You’ll glide through the Alaska forest and experience Alaska in the winter as few can. See the birch groves intermixed with aspen, encounter black spruce trees followed by white spruce and visually see the difference.Watch the sun at noon just above the horizon and enjoy the remarkable beauty the low angle of the sun creates. Ride under a blue sky which just seems brighter. Take a breathe. Welcome to Alaska in the winter!

The day was magic! Beautiful trail. Got to see moose! Our guide, Beau, was just wonderful! He had great knowledge and experience, and we felt safe going out with him. He picked us up at the hotel, and even gave us a mini tour of our surrounding areas as we drove by giving us the history, locations and important facts. Would definitely recommend doing the two hour vs the one hour.

Super fun experience with a great guide! The views were amazing, the trails were fun, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable! Absolutely should be included on a trip to the area!

Recently went on a 2 hour snowmachine trip with Midnight Sun ATV Tours. It was a pretty cold day, but Rick made sure I had enough extra layers to stay warm on the trail (which worked, I stayed plenty warm in below zero temps). The snowmachine was easy to drive and the trail was some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in Alaska! Definitely made for a great weekend adventure in Fairbanks!
