This is the story of tacos in LA. You will follow the city's history through taco tasting, getting introduced to some of the local favorite foods and family stories.

Enjoy three delicious tastings, balanced by different flavors, textures and traditions in some of the city's oldest sites, like Olvera Street, the Grand Central Market and off Broadway.

Walking from stop to stop, you'll gain an appreciation for the various neighborhoods of Downtown LA and the city's true taco tradition.

Olvera Street
Enjoy the vibrant ambiance of the city's oldest neighborhoods. Taste from a legendary local taco vendor, see the city's oldest buildings and important cultural spots.

Avila Adobe
The oldest Adobe house in Los Angeles has been preserved with furnishings typical of the era. A former rancher's home, this quiet spot gives insight into 18th-century living and offers beautiful views of Union Station.

City Hall
This beautiful building was once the tallest west of the Mississippi. We will admire it's exterior as we walk from Olvera Street to the Grand Central Market.

Grand Central Market
Taste tacos and explore the market at your own pace. Plus walking 20 minutes to the market from Olvera Street.

Angels Flight Railway
Take a ride up this historic funicular railway if time permits and enjoy views of Downtown from the top. Ride back or take the stairs down to the Grand Central Market.

Downtown Historic District
Here is where we will enjoy our final taco tasting as well as walking along Broadway, seeing the city's original theaters and residential neighborhoods grown up out of historic buildings.

What a wonderful way to experience Los Angeles and itā€™s history all while enjoying the culinary culture of its Mexican heritage through a taco tour. Our guide Summer was friendly and informative .
