If you are looking for the Ultimate Alaska Tour this is the one! Excellent trip for a couple, whole family or group of friends! We depart Homer Alaska in our Float plane to visit both Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks. This is not your typical Bear tour, it is a long trip with lots of flying, sight seeing and don't forget about the Bear Viewing in Katmai! The exact itinerary will be finalized on the morning of your trip to accommodate for weather, and bear activity. On a typical day this tour we will usually depart in the morning from our base at Beluga Lake flying across Cook Inlet to Lake Clark National Park to spend some time stretching our legs and sight seeing. Next we will load up in our float plane and head out to Katmai National Park to see Alaskan Brown Bears! The exact locations we land will depend on the bears. I never would have believed that any place could be as beautiful as Homer. I have been a beach person all my life, but after my visit to Alaska, I wish I could spend every summer there. I am going to add a picture of the airbud we stayed at. It was so clean, big, comfortable and the views were magnificent. Also easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

The reception was very friendly and Trent, the pilot, worked very hard to fly us to Brooks Falls, where we had an unforgettable experience in observing the bears.

Unbelievable! Add this to your bucket list! We put ourselves in Trentā€™s hands, and were not disappointed. The absolute highlight of our entire 2-week trip to Alaska. When the weather didnā€™t cooperate for Plan A to Katmai, Trent proposed & we agreed to Plan B, Crescent Lake. This tiny portion of Lake Clarke NP gave us captivating & up close (20-30 yards on a pontoon boat) views of bears fishing & eating salmon. The highlight was a family of 4 brown bears, mother & triplet 2-year old bears. We saw them swimming, playing, growling over salmon, climbing into empty boats, and generally at home on the shore. We learned a great deal about the location, salmon, brown bears, and living in the moment. All in a setting that can only be described as heavenly: turquoise water, lush green forests, snow-topped mountain (Redoubt), sockeye salmon slowly coming to their lifeā€™s end after spawning, brown bears actively in & out of the water, a juevenile bald eagle perched & watchful. A stunning show of nature & the right time to visit the right place. Do not hesitate! Book this now!
