This was the perfect way for my husband and I to see many national parks and other natural sites in the Southwest.
The group of 12 included two other couples, a darling family, and three women traveling solo. It was a fantastic mix of countries, ages, and backgrounds.
While our tour guide, Joe, had a good heart and I think meant well, the literature said we would be accompanied by an “expert guide”. Joe was far from being an expert. He gave extremely little information while driving, mostly talking about himself and his experiences that were seldom related to our tour. What little information he did give was often incorrect. As for the guide part, Joe was never actually our tour guide at any of the locations, he just dropped us off. As for organization, that was lacking too. (Ie, adamant coffee drinkers were not accommodated. Joe made a big deal that stopping for coffee would put us off schedule, when he should’ve learned day 1 to figure out the logistics of that.
Again, would recommend this tour, not the “expert guide”.
