Grand Canyon South Rim

Tour includes Tusayan pick-up, south entrance gate detour during exclusive 30 minute back-road excursion, viewing of wildlife such as elk, deer, turkey and hawks in their natural surroundings and interpretive discussions at exceptional Grand Canyon vistas.

Yavapai Point

Guides share Grand Canyon knowledge while you look into the depths and view spectacular monuments, Colorado River and Phantom Ranch.

Bright Angel Trail

Discover the rich history of the Kolb brothers who built their art studio cantilevered over the Grand Canyon and above the Bright Angel Trail. See hikers and mules as they descend the trail into the Grand Canyon.

Hopi House

The tour continues to Hopi House, El Tovar Hotel and Bright Angel Lodge where your guide will discuss these historic buildings and Grand Canyon history.

We booked a last minute private 3-hour morning tour and were lucky to have Werner as our guide. With good nature and abundant humour, Werner provided us with lots of incredible information including about plants and wildlife (including photos to illustrate some of what he was telling us about!!!), which was in addition to the information about the geological and topographical features of the Grand Canyon. He also took some great photos of our little group and ended the tour with a fun nature-related quiz. Also, after hearing about our travel plans, Werner gave us more than a handful of recommendations for sites to see on our way to Bryce Canyon. To say that we were pleasantly surprised and absolutely thrilled with our tour would be an understatement. So, it is definitely worth your while to book a tour with Werner - nothing but amazing information and amazing energy = amazing memories!
