Tour includes Tusayan pick-up, south entrance gate detour during exclusive 30 minute back-road excursion, viewing of wildlife such as elk, deer, turkey and hawks in their natural surroundings and interpretive discussions at exceptional Grand Canyon vistas.

Yavapai Point

Guides share Grand Canyon knowledge while you look into the depths and view spectacular monuments, Colorado River and Phantom Ranch.

Bright Angel Trail

Discover the rich history of the Kolb brothers who built their art studio cantilevered over the Grand Canyon and above the Bright Angel Trail. See hikers and mules as they descend the trail into the Grand Canyon.

Hopi House

The tour continues to Hopi House, El Tovar Hotel and Bright Angel Lodge where your guide will discuss these historic buildings and Grand Canyon history.

This tour was great, Nathan is the man! He made the tour so interesting and informative about everything. Not only do you see the canyon, you also go through the surrounding national forest. Nathan tells of all things from animals, use of natual resources, camping and life in the forest. He also explains details about the canyon, how it formed, etc. Nathan makes sure you get all the photos you want including wildlife. He turned us around so that we could watch mule deer and get those photos ! I highly recommend this tour. Thanks Nathan !

Booked through Tripmasters... highly recommend to take this tour your first day in GCNP. Our tour guide, Werner, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great personality! He helped us set up some must do activities for the few days we were there.
