What I didn't like: stopping at the B and B with no food involved. Going to Bee Unique with a rushed feeling. It would be nice to have more than a tasting at this charming shop. The Food Hall to begin with--food very good, but a bit off-putting in its atmosphere when we first arrived and tried to figure out where to go. the Sangria at Havana Cuban Restaurant--seriously the worst wine and sangria I've ever tasted! What I liked: Grato's food! my favorite food and stop. Havana Cuba--good but a bit rushed. Would have liked more than a thimble full of that good coffee. A bit tough with the stairs. Rhythm cafe, excellent pie. The taco place Cholo Soy was fun and the homemade tortilla was delicious. The Guide: Personable Kristol, also the owner I think. She was excellent, but maybe because I'm a former teacher, I felt she was going through the motions a bit. I sensed looking at the time and checking off each number. On the other hand, I would recommend tour and guide. She was very nice to me on a personal level. Finally, the luxury van really was--a black BMW--that was very nice for this tour!

Our tours are planned to incorporate a bit of history, architecture and culture hence the stop at the bed and breakfast without food. The owners are historians, and we are fortunate that they share the history of the neighborhood, and the architectural features of the inn. Likewise, the honey tasting is designed to be a break between our 2 heaviest tastings, and as you know honey is a chance to learn about the local flora and fauna. Everyone always has their favorites on the tour, and thankfully, we all like different things. The world wouldn’t need menus if everyone has the same tastes!

Great restaurant choices. Very personal stories about owners, where they are from (international), food philosophy, and good introduction to lesser-known cuisine. Jonathan is an outstanding tour guide.

Our Historic West Palm Beach Neighborhood Food Tour is a delicious way to taste and learn about the flavors of South Florida...Cuban, Latin American and all our fun tropical fruits. As you know, food tours are more than just delicious food...it's food, history, architecture and culture. Thanks for the thumbs-up!
