We found this tour online and after reading all the great reviews, we decided to book it! We met Derick our tour guide at a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, and he gave us a short safety briefing and minutes later we were on our way. This adventure is not for easily frightened or faint of heart. Within minutes of leaving the restaurant, we were on a trail enjoying the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Derick stopped the tour several times to provide details about the desert, it’s critters and it’s plants. We even got to sample cactus and some wild mustard. He is very knowledgeable and super laid back. The tour is about 2-3 hours in length and we went over terrain and obstacles that if we weren’t with a guide we would never think were passable. The vehicles travel about 25 mph but seem faster. Believe me, it’s fast enough! After driving through a few feet of water crossing a river, the tour ended where it started. This tour was awesome in every sense and Derick was a great tour guide. If you are a thrill seeker or just looking to try something new, this tour is for you. Once the tour ends, be sure to stay and enjoy lunch at the Road Runner...food was awesome!

We had a blast! Driving through the rough desert, the rocks and the mud was so awesome. Our guide Brad gave us the best tour, it felt like we were rock climbing in ATVs with our buddies!

The Tomcars are amazing vehicles and do smooth out these rough trails. Sometimes people don't really understand just how rough some of these trails are until they try it with another type of off-road vehicle. But, if you'll notice, you won't see many jeep tours on our trails!!

My wife and I had a blast on this trip. Brad was our guide and he was awesome! We had a small group for our trip which was perfect for us and the terrain is nothing short of amazing! A rush at times but very safe.... I have referred numerous people to book trips since we showed off our pics.
