The town of Edgartown was picturesque. The Church camp area of Oaks Bluff with all of the little colorful homes were very neat.. Otherwise the rest of the town of Oaks Bluff which is the main tourist town is just a typical strip of t-shirt stores and trinket shops. Honestly not worth the time it takes to navigate there.

The only way to see so much of the island in a short time. Our tour guide Phil is a local and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour started off with a bang. I was pulled off the van and yelled at over the phone by the owner that my daughter was not 10 years old and that I was lying about her age and Karma would get me. The driver told me he had nothing to do with it, and it wasn’t his fault. Firstly he doubted my daughters age and obviously called the owner. He never asked. And she was 10 years old. Now to the tour. It was not very good of a tour. Most of the time we were looking at trees and being told what obscure writer lived down these driveways. You could not see houses. The driver clearly had political leanings and made sure they were known. The lighthouse was pretty nice as were the gingerbread houses. We said nothing to the driver about the incident to start the tour, but I was again verbally attacked at the end of the tour because “I had taken it out on the driver.” He yelled at me in front of the other passengers. We literally hadn’t said anything about it to him or even to each other. It was very frustrating, unprofessional, and we will not use this company again. I do recommend Martha’s Vineyard, it was really nice.
