Our tour guide was Dave, and he was extremely knowledgeable of the island. It was one of the best tours I have been on and would highly recommend. Ask for Dave!!

We took the ferry to Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. The tour was about 3 hours long 7 people in a 12 passenger van. They wanted to put in 4 more people which would have made it extremely crowded given that everyone had a camera bag, purse or day pack, plus our rain gear. That would have been very uncomfortable. After al they billed it as a small group tour.

The guide was knowledgeable but there was no time for photography except at maybe 3 stops for bathroom or food breaks. Taking photos through tinted and scratched van windows that don't open doesn't work. Basically we were disappointed with the restrictions of this kind of touring.

After the tour we went back to the Methodist church camp to take photos of the gingerbread cottages which was quite nice

We are so sorry you where disappointed with the tour. You said we wanted to put 4 more people on the tour, but we did not, we wanted everyone to be comfortable. You stated you where disappointed that there was not enough time to take pictures. We would have been happy to do a private tour for you which would have allowed you the time you wanted for picture taking without the restrictions. This tour does state that we would make 2 15min. stops. The island is 100 square miles and therefore takes about 2 1/2 hours to drive it. We are pleased you found our guide to be very Knowledgeable. We look at all reviews as a learning experience to help make our company the best. Thank you for your input.
