Went on this tour 2 yrs ago (also good!) but Phil’s insider knowledge of MV history & enthusiasm plus extra stops at a local bakery made this a top notch tour! Obviously someone who loves sharing MV!

We had a group of 40 senior citizens in 4 vans. Each tour guide had different experiences to share since most were lifetime residence of Martha’s Vineyard. We had a great tour with three stops with awesome views, especially the cliffs. We had time to quickly do a little shopping or get food at two of the stops. We also drove around cemetery to see where John Belushi was buried. The little brightly painted summer cottages were just like doll houses. Our tour was in October so none were occupied, plus less tourists there. I would definitely recommend this company for a tour. I must mention though, we had some larger people in our group. The vans were able to hold 10 but some were uncomfortable especially since several had to crawl over three rows of seats to get to back seat. Although no one complained in our group, I am just mentioning it as an FYI.

Sounds like a wonderful tour - we appreciate the recommendation. These are 14 pax vans and because we aware that some visitors are ample - we limit to 10 pax - with all vans there are multiple rows, so some ppl have to sit in back rows. To truly guarantee more space - perhaps 1 pax per row - would have to book a private tour - which we would be happy to do!

We really enjoyed our tour! Despite a very rainy day, our tour guide, Rich M., kept us entertained with not only his knowledge of the history of the island but lots of personal stories of his interactions with notable visitors. We were looking for a tour that would give us a overview of the island and this tour definitely did that and more. Would certainly recommend it!
