This hike was beautiful and we loved what we learned about the plant and animal life. It gave us an appreciation of how incredible nature is and the uniqueness of this area. Jade’s knowledge and obvious enjoyment of nature made the experience all the better!

It was a nice day and Sam was pretty knowledgeable of the surroundings. Would have expected to take a different route back so not to see the same thing twice.

Hi Kathryn! Thank you so much for leaving a review! I just had a lovely chat with you on the phone, but I'll reiterate some things here for the public. First, I'm glad you had a great time with Sam and got some good knowledge. I'm really sorry you had to see the same thing twice. We do most of our tours as out-and-backs (except the 4-Hour Off-Trail Tour since that one is...off-trail.) The reason we do this is so that we can give our guides more freedom. We don't want to give them a set route that they have to do with every group. Our guides are expected to gauge the group and decide which trail will be best for them. They then take them on that trail at a pace that works best for the group. We don't always end up completing a loop or going back a different way than we came. I'm very sorry that that affected your enjoyment of your tour. Even if you still thought it was great. We want to be exceptional every time!
