3-hour Private Tour

Overview
Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. We invite you to join one of our guides on a truly unique and one of a kind tour, and to support this 100% NAVAJO OWNED and OPERATED SMALL BUSINESS!! Ahéhee' (thank you)

The canyon was beautiful. The guide was informative, although he mentioned our length of time quite often and how we had to be out at 12:00. His problem not ours. We broke down at the end. Another guide had to get us out.

Thank you for the feedback. JW is one of our newer guides this year. We will continue to educate and teach him on how to communicate with the guest. The vehicle was sitting for over a year when we were not operating during the pandemic and we are sorry that happen during your visit. Thankfully our other driver Daniel was able to take you out the remaining 2 miles. Again we appreciate you visiting the Navajo Nation and supporting a local Navajo owned and operated business. The canyon was beautiful and we saw many ruins. I didn't like how the guide constantly reminded us that we had a 3 hour tour. He must have told us 20 times. (The tour is from 9 - 12). It was his responsibility to keep track of the time. Plus he talked about how well maintained his vehicle was, yet we broke down at the end of the trip. We really enjoyed learning about the history and seeing the beautiful canyon.

We had a fantastic Beauty Way tour of Canyon de Chelly. Our guide, Ben, was an expert, extremely knowledgeable about the canyon--the amazing ruins, its rich history, archaeology, and the Navajo people and their culture. Having grown up in the canyon, Ben shared many stories of his grandparents, parents, and other relatives, and described what it was and still is like to live and work in the canyon. He made the tour both educational, fascinating, and fun! It was a very memorable experience and a real privilege to have Ben as our guide. We highly recommend Beauty Way tours.
