Did you know Denver was founded over a barrel of whiskey? On this 3 hour Colorado Whiskey tour you will learn about Whiskies and their role in the founding of the city. On this walking tour you will visit Denver's oldest Irish Pub, a modern day saloon, and a local Denver distillery. Along the way you will sample different whiskies, learn how high altitude distilling is different than anywhere else and learn some light local history. We heard about this through a friend and I’m glad we booked! I love history and whiskeys, and we had a fun interesting time walking through history with Will who’s also the owner and guide. There were some fun surprises not mentioned along the way, it wasn’t too long or too short, I learned stuff about Denver I had never even heard of! I recommend it if you are looking for a unique way to see the city and try have a few drinks. The drink package sounded pricey but included a nice sized beer tasting, a cocktail, and a whiskey flight (we did all Colorado whiskeys which was nice). Even at stops there was some kind of story or entertainment. Highly recommend, I will be booking their other tours if they are as good as this one.
