3 hours Manatee Swim Tour in Florida

Overview
As the leaders in the industry we feel it is our duty to have all our tours conducted by professionals. Our Manatee snorkel tours are guided by USCG Captain as well as a licensed and insured dive professional. Our in water professionals are trained as first responders, with First aid, CPR, AED administration and in-water rescue training. Captain and guides are also trained in manatee manners, through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The training allows us to lead the industry by operating the saftest tours on the water for our guest and manatees alike.

We had a great time with the Waterfront Adventures team! They are all very friendly and smiling. Regarding the tour, we chose the 3 hour one at $75 per person. We saw a lot of manatees, so the promise is kept. At the start there were a lot of people in the water, it was a bit of a shame, but then we were calmer. The water is turquoise in places, it’s really an experience that we don’t regret. In this formula it is possible to be a ā€œswimmerā€ ($75) but also an ā€œobserverā€ ($45). For this second option, be careful, the observer stays in the stationary boat for almost 2 hours, while the rest of the group swims. You will see manatees passing around the boat, but I found it to be a bit long and boring. So it’s better to swim (the water is shallow and 22 degrees all year round)! All equipment is provided (wetsuit, snorkel, mask, fries) + hot drinks included and you can ask lots of questions. The guide takes photos underwater but be careful it's an additional $40 if you want to leave with the USB key. We didn't take it because there was no real portrait of us underwater with the manatees. In short, a success for us and a great memory for the children!
