We had a great time with the Waterfront Adventures team! They are all very friendly and smiling. Regarding the tour, we chose the 3 hour one at $75 per person. We saw a lot of manatees, so the promise is kept. At the start there were a lot of people in the water, it was a bit of a shame, but then we were calmer. The water is turquoise in places, itās really an experience that we donāt regret.
In this formula it is possible to be a āswimmerā ($75) but also an āobserverā ($45). For this second option, be careful, the observer stays in the stationary boat for almost 2 hours, while the rest of the group swims. You will see manatees passing around the boat, but I found it to be a bit long and boring. So itās better to swim (the water is shallow and 22 degrees all year round)! All equipment is provided (wetsuit, snorkel, mask, fries) + hot drinks included and you can ask lots of questions. The guide takes photos underwater but be careful it's an additional $40 if you want to leave with the USB key. We didn't take it because there was no real portrait of us underwater with the manatees.
In short, a success for us and a great memory for the children!
