What a great time! There is plenty to do while you wait for your tour time! It is so cool to be out on the air boat! They let you know up front that since gators are wild, they can’t guarantee that you’ll see them, but they do their best and we saw 3! So many birds to see as well! The food at the restaurant is excellent and the portions are huge! Way beyond our expectations! We had the brisket and tater tots! Highly recommend!

Excellent experience!!! We are a family of four on a budget with a birthday boy. It was noted in a website that Boggy Creek offers a free 30 min ride for birthday person. So we bought the ultimate package for myself and husband through TripAdvisor. Then at the gate purchased a ride for the other kid. Not only did the birthday boy get a free ride, he also got a bag of alligator food for free. The airboat captain was very hospitable, found as an alligator and a blue heron in the muck, and definitely gave us all of our 30 minutes, if not more. Facilities were clean, food yummy, and all staff were very accommodating! Thanks for a great outing!

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate all feedback, so we can best serve our guests. We do apologize that weather caused the boats to be docked. Safety is our number 1 priority at Boggy Creek. We are also regulated by the U.S. Coast Guard, and have to follow their rules and regulations. The lightning detector is not controlled by our facility. It is a regulation lightning detector (Earth Networks product) and it goes off when you are within a dangerous number of miles from the storm. Earth Networks also serves FEMA, the US Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration. (You can see a full list of the companies they serve on their website). The device sends out a notification to our captains the second they need to be off the water and it sends out another notification when it’s safe to travel again. Unfortunately, even if it’s sunny and beautiful outside it can be very deceiving of the danger you are in. We also refund all passengers that are not able to go out on their tour. If you purchased your tickets from a 3rdparty company you would need to get your refund through them, since that’s where you purchased them. We hope you are able to return to us on our next trip so you can get the experience we regret to hear you did not have on your first trip due to Mother Nature.
