What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

Saw live alligator in the wild. Many different types of birds and even saw 2 white tailed deer drinking out of the lake. Great air boat ride.

We decided to do the airboat ride last minute today and googled which was closest to where we were staying. Arrived at boggy creek and pleasantly surprised by the surrounding and what was on offer. Was insightful how native Americans lived, the tools they used etc. being able to see alligators up close was fantastic. Though I did feel that there was too many gators and not a lot of water or space for them to roam. I believe less gators would be sufficient for the size of the enclosure. The airboat ride was such a joyous experience. The captain Patrick was fab and gave lots of information about the scenery. It was definitely a different side to Florida than the parks and definitely a highlight of our holiday.

This was so much fun, saw a bunch of gators up close and personal. Saw some different birds. They us a fenced in area where you can feed the baby gators which was really cool also.
