We purchased the 1 Hour Airboat Adventure for 6 at 2:30 pm for $284.50. Our family didn't really feel that this excursion was worth it. We saw the eyes of 3 alligators peering above the water. Our Guide didn't have a lot to say. I've posted a picture showing pretty much all we saw on our excursion. The airboat ride was okay, just a little over priced for what saw.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you may have experienced. Unfortunately, we give customers the experience of seeing true Florida wildlife and are unable to guarantee any specific type of animal (since they are wild). We apologize if this was not made more clear to you initially and thank you for bringing it to our attention so that we can work to improve this aspect of our service. For passengers hoping to see specific wildlife we recommend calling ahead to find out what time of day they are most prominent. If you were looking for an alligator specifically we do guarantee them, but only on our night tour. We have been in business for almost 27 years and our captains are highly trained to educate their passengers about the area flora, fauna and wildlife. If your captain did not meet our criteria we need to find out which captain you had so that we can work on retraining him. Please email us more information about your tour such as the tour date, time and the captainā€™s name. If you cannot remember your captainā€™s name we would appreciate it if you can give us a description of his estimated age, hair color, body build, and if he had facial hair or not. We would also like to know if you complained to the front desk after your tour. (We want to be sure our staff handled your complaint appropriately.) Any information you can provide us will be very helpful so that we can investigate this further. We do not have commentary in the ear muffs because we prefer giving our customers one on one time and our captains stop the boat and turn it off along the way to get a more up close and personal experience. We prefer that to trying to speak through the hearing protection while the boat is running. We hope to hear from you soon so that this can be resolved to your satisfaction. Please donā€™t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions at all. We appreciate all comments and suggestions from our customers so that we may increase our performance and always provide excellent service to our customers.

We were initially looking into another company but then found the flyer of Boogy Creek in the lobby of our accommodation. It turned out they also had a restaurant attached that serves gator bites. So we went there and were not disappointed. Be aware that you have to book the one hour tours ahead, otherwise it will only be the half an hour one. But we were offered a private tour for thr four of us. We paid $63 instead of $58 and had the boat for us. That was the right decision to make. The $15 more a person is worth every penny. Tanner our captain was very knowledgable and answered every question patiently. We saw lots of wild life, gators, birds, snails ect., ect.. The hour flew by and we had a blast. After that we tried the gator bites and talked to John who "supervises" the little gators. When going with kids, there is lots of other stuff to do and a big day park is attached as well. It is a good 30 minute ride from Orlando, your own vehicle is recommended. We would go there again and book the private tour as well. Big Thanks to the Boogy Creek Team for our first airboat adventure.

We booked the airboat ride online during our recent holiday and it was a great experience. We didnā€™t see any alligators (apparently evenings are best for this) but that didnā€™t detract from the experience at all. The guy who took us out (captain?) was very friendly and knowledgeable and everyone in our party really enjoyed the ride. The one thing that needs improvement is the attitude of the lady at check in (Ginny, if I remember correctly). I had our voucher saved on my phone but she said, not particularly pleasantly, that it was supposed to be a printed copy. I explained that we were staying in a villa with no access to a printer and that I hadnā€™t seen anything on the website to say a paper copy was required. (If I had seen it I would have phoned in advance to explain I had no way of printing it.) Her response was simply to say, again not very pleasantly, that it was supposed to be a printed copy. She told me to send it to her by email so she could print it off, and obviously I emailed her the voucher. No, this wasnā€™t right: she needed the original email. Iā€™m not sure if she thought I was psychic but why did she not specify that? Iā€™m sure if this happens all the time it must be frustrating for her to have to deal with but surely itā€™s not necessary to be unpleasant with customers. The others in my party, who were waiting within earshot all commented to me that she had been rude. We arenā€™t ridiculous enough to have let it spoil the overall experience but when everything else about it was so positive itā€™s a shame this ladyā€™s customer service skills werenā€™t better.

We are so glad that overall the experience was a positive one for you and your family. We are very sorry to hear about the check in. We know it is difficult for the front desk to handle all the different vouchers and the rules the companies put on them. They have to know over 100 different procedures and what is required by each. We are sorry that you felt that she let this get to an unpleasant encounter. We will discuss this with her. We hope that you will give our park another try and that everything will be enjoyable.
