Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

We booked a 12:00 airboat ride. We arrived 30 minutes early to find that there was a lightning delay. Although, it caused a delay, I am greatful that the company was concerned enough about safety to not put anyone in danger on the water. We went in the restaurant to kill some time, ordered and noticed that other people from our time were headed out the door. Luckily I went to check, or else we would have missed the tour! (my only complaint, lack of intercom system to call guests for boarding). We also enjoyed the baby alligators and informational session about the area. The tour was fun and informative. Our guide knew alot about the area and the lake. Nothing like the wind in your hair on an overcast day!

The administrative part of this is a hassle. I bought on Trip Advisor and had to call to get a time. The employee was female on the phone and could use some lessons in courtesy. I asked that she check another day and she said “well I’ll have to put everything in my system again” like I was inconveniencing her. I think they should get with the times and get a scanner so you can use Apple Wallet like it is intended and not make people print stuff off while they’re on vacation. Other than that our tour guide was awesome. The views are incredible!!! We saw deer, birds, and gators!!

Once the customer information is in we can change the tour type, date and time over and over without having to enter it in again. We are going to investigate further why this didn't happen during your call. Can you send the time and date this happened? We also apologize for the inconvenience of having to print a voucher. When purchasing tickets through a 3rd party company we would need to receive a printed voucher or ticket for billing purposes. Passes purchased directly on our website would not need to be printed. Customers just check in at the front desk with a photo ID. We are glad your experience ended well and you had a great time on your airboat tour. That is what we would have expected your entire experience to be. Please know this was an exception. We hope you can provide more information so we can get this corrected, and it doesn't happen again in the future.

I wasnt expecting much of this but, it was really good! The place is very well organised, the air boat ride was 30 mins and the guide found 3 gators for us to see, the biggest was 6ft. The ride itself was so smooth and fast loved it. There is also lots of gators in pens to see, a gift shop and cafe. Definitely worth a visit.
