What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

We attended today for the first time and had a great time. We had time before our trip and checked out the Native American village and then got on the airboat with Captain Andy. He took the time to point out animals to us and even spotted a gator hidden in the weeds. Thoroughly enjoyed and will highly recommend.

Safety first? The experience was comprehensive. There is a place to get a sandwich, some alligators to see and many activities for the kids. The boat captain was friendly and the equipment was in really good shape. So why dangerous? We went out in the pm when storms were in the area, and we got significantly rained on halfway through (the half an hour ride). No problem, the captain blasted back across the lake and we were fine. However, an hour later a weather emergency was announced with 40 mph winds. If we were stuck in that?.,,,, Bottom line, it was a fun trip but check the weather before you leave the dock. Safety first.

WE HAD A BLAST!!! .. Chad was our operator..he was awesome ..we went fast and drifted ....super super cool trip...we will be back
