What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

I wasn't sure if my children, girls aged 6-9, would enjoy this trip as it was very different to the theme parks we had been to for the last two weeks, but I was really pleased that they loved it. We managed to get the front row of the boat which was great as we had an unobstructed view. It was all very safe without being overly cautious, which led to a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The airboat captain was clearly very skilled and knew what he was doing and eventually managed to track down a big gator, but the real surprise was to see so many cows! 30 mins was probably enough for the children but I think we could have done with a bit more time out on the water. Overall, a great experience for all the family and a good way to see a bit of Florida that isn't the parks.

Absolutely fantastic experience!! The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and we saw so many alligators, large and small, which were weren't expecting and a beautiful bald eagle as well. We did the hour long trip, which ended up being slightly longer, which was great. You get to see so much of the beautiful lake and learn a lot too. If you're considering or not sure whether you want to do an air boat ride, you really should go here and try it! You won't regret it!

Would thoroughly recommend visiting here for a morning. Fantastic airboat ride but also informative about wildlife, particularly the alligators. Made a real change from the parks and only 30-40mins away from Davenport where we are staying.
