What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

The whole experience at boggy creek just adds to the total Wow factor of coming to Orlando. It was nice to getaway from the parks and do something completely different. Our Captain (Ryan) was very informative and helpful and the whole setup was perfect from the welcome to the equipment and the Native talk afterwards.

The boat ride was amazing!! I would've gave it a 5 if the process in reserving would have gone right. I purchased the tickets via TripAdvisor for the 1 hour tour. I read that reservation was required, so i placed the call on the number on my voucher, and was told by the receptionist that I did not have to reserve . I was skeptical and told her that it clearly said reservation for the hour tour was required. She insisted that I could arrive early on the day of and should be fine. Should not have listened!! Got to Boggy Creek early to be told that I needed a reservation. Disappointed but not surprised..the employee apologized for the miscommunication and reserved a spot for the next day. Bottom line...if you buy via TripAdvisor, call Boggy Creek directly and make sure to reserve your spot for the 1 hour tour.

This is the second time I've visited. The 1 hour airboat ride was slightly different this year, and we saw more gators this year, but no bald eagle, probably because the eagle was on vacation further north. Its best to go early in day before it gets too hot and before the inevitability rain starts. Good Indian talk (and he could talk a lot) and good food afterwards. Very recommended by my family and I will go again but at a different time of year to see the difference. Don't forget your mossie spray. They always get the bits you miss!
