What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

Our family of 6 (kids ages 12, 10, 6 and 5) was looking for a R & R trip to Orlando and found out about Boggy Creek Airboat Rides while visiting Gatorland. We were booked for a 60 minute private boat ride and arrived early enough to explore the grounds prior to our reservation time. The kids loved playing pretend on the air-boat located on the grounds. There are gators from Gatorland to view and feed if you wish. There is also mining available which we did not have time to do. We also sat through the presentation by the Native American and really enjoyed it. He was informative, funny and engaging. I had previously been on a airboat ride in the Everglades, but this was my family's first time. Boggy Creek did not disappoint. We saw alligators of every size, turtles, birds (including a bald eagle) and enjoyed speeding around the creek while ducks got out of our way. The views are so peaceful and stunning, that we returned a few days later at sunset to enjoy the tranquility. I highly recommend that if your schedule allows. There is a restaurant and Gift Shop on site and are worth checking out. The restaurant had Gator bites and BBQ. Boggy Creek Airboats is a relaxing and family friendly environment and a nice change from prior exhausting trips to the Orlando area.

Captain Fred was really fun and found the gators and turtles and birds lots of fun for all family members would do it again and recommend anyone to do it we did the 1/2 hr tour and would of loved to do the hour tour
