I just got back from the Yellowstone/Tetons trip leaving from Salt Lake City. I had such a great time. I was apprehensive about camping, since Iām not a big camper, but the camping and time around the campfire at night helped to create a bond with all the other people on the trip. We saw some really great views and Mike, our guide, did a wonderful job at getting us to all the best places.
I was a little surprised on the first day. The description says you can visit the visitorās center, take a stroll around the lake, or watch for wildlife. We were dropped off in one parking lot and picked up in another one. That entailed either a 3 mile hike or a 5-8 mile hike, depending on how far you wanted to go. To me, a stroll is not a 3 to 8 mile hike. However, I understand that the best way to see things in a National park is on foot, but I didnāt adequately prepare myself for the hike, based on the itinerary description.
The trip was well organized, and the communication before the trip was exceptional, whether it was answering an email, questions over the phone, or email communication just before the trip.
I would definitely travel with Bindlestiff tours again.
