My friends, family and I have been regular RMNP visitors and hikers for decades now, and we love the Park. Our tour with Ranger Rod was amazing, adding a dimension to the Park we didnā€™t even know we cared about! Ranger Rod is a natural teacher with a deep understanding of the geology of RMNP and he loves the area as much as we do. A real bonus was Rodā€™s innate ability to make people feel at ease and his outstanding sense of humor, he made it fun as well as incredibly interesting. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Ranger Rod, you will not be disappointed!

Best tour ever! What an experience, I've lived within an hour or 2 of RMNP my whole life, but never appreciated its complexities until now. Ranger Rod's tour will open your eyes, his geological expertise will give you a new perspective on the park and the incredible and powerful forces that created and then sculpted the rock over millions of years. He also helped me understand much about mountain building and glaciers that has allowed me to better understand the rock world around me. You will come away from Ranger Rod's tour with new eyes on the geology that surrounds us all. You'll never see rocks the same way, he will indeed change your world view.

Full Potential Wilderness has found a gem in guide, Rod Strand. Rodā€™s knowledge and enthusiasm for the geology of Rocky Mountain National Park is palpable. He not only understands the complex science of the parkā€™s formations, but delves into the intriguing history of its human inhabitants. In addition, many ā€œmust seeā€ highlights of RMNP are incorporated into Rodā€™s Geo Tour. My husband and I feel that this tour will engage any age group. All in all itā€™s a great way to spend half a day in this majestic park.
