Muir Woods National Monument

You will walk through a trail along Redwood Creek and will see the natural beauty of this magnificent place which has trees with over 350 feet (106 meters) of height. Muir Woods National Monument is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco. It’s known for its towering old-growth redwood trees. Admission: $15.00-Adult (16 years of age and older) Free-Children (15 years of age and under)

Marin Headlands

Located just north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge, you you have a chance to see one of the most beautiful view of San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean coast. You will stop by Point Bonita Lighthouse, Ridge Battery, Hawk Hill/Battery 129 and Fort Baker for pictures and view appreciation.

Sausalito

Sausalito is a city in Marin County, across the Golden Gate Strait from San Francisco. You will walk through the main street where there are many art gallery, gift shops, restaurants, coffee shops and a fantastic panoramic view of San Francisco, Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay

You will see the famous bridge from many angle. Each one of them with a particular beauty.

Wonderful tour! Our guide Fred was very knowledgeable. He customized the tour for us. He was very friendly but still professional. We had a great walk along the beautiful pathways in Muir Woods. Fred took us to the best view above the Golden Gate Bridge and to a fabulous view of the ocean. Also we had time to spend in beautiful Sausalito. You should not miss this tour!!

Amazing tour with an awesome tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and took us to amazing locations. My 5 yo grandson is obsessed with the Golden Gate Bridge and our tour guide made the trip memorable. Can’t recommend enough. Spend the extra $$ and skip a bus tour. You will not regret it.

Not much of a sight seeing experience but a private transportation experience. Good transportation service dropoff and pickup to Muir woods.
