4-Hour Rappelling Lesson in Golden, CO.

Overview

Experience the Colorado mountains in a truly unique way. Our day begins by hiking to the summit of North Table Mountain, a volcanically formed mesa only minutes from Denver. After breathing in the fresh mountain air and observing the amazing views, your Rappelling Guide will instruct on how to safely use the equipment. We will then make several rappels down vertical cliffs ranging from 30 to over 100 feet in height! Pictures are always included.

For my dad’s 67th birthday, he wanted to try rappelling, and I am so happy he found Denver Climbing Company! My stepdaughter and I joined him, and from the beginning, Dan put all of us at ease. He made sure we always felt comfortable, and it was very clear safety was the top priority. We were surrounded by picturesque scenery while we conquered both the 35ft and 110ft rappelling. I took my 3 Grandchildren from So Cal ages 17,17,15. On the way home they couldn’t stop talking about their awesome experience rock climbing for the first time. The 15 year old was the one I thought would chicken out, but because of Dan (our Guide) he climbed almost to the top on his third climb. When asked what was going through his head he said “I trusted what Dan was telling me to do”. Our Guide, Dan, was exceptional with teaching, coaching and encouraging the kids. I highly recommend this experience with this Company. They took great care to provide “almost new , clean/sanitized” equipment. It was a highlight of my Grandchildren’s visit to Colorado.

My wife and myself went to Denver Climbing Company prior to a Canyoning vacation in Utah for rappelling basics. 10/10 would take another class from Denver Climbing Company. Dan was thoughtful, professional, and an incredibly effective educator.
